of the market town of Graus, north of the wine region of Somontano,

base for walking holidays and activity holidays
of all kinds in this beautiful part of Spain. Surrounded
by fantastic mountain views and only 40 minutes drive to the
ski resort of Cerler, you can enjoy walking, climbing,
golf, rafting or skiing holidays
or even just relaxing by the large pool.

currently has 3 large villas, 2 catering for 10 and one for
12, and a smaller cottage for 4. While all the chalets are
very spacious, the dinning room in Casa Sur has been designed
to allow big groups
to dine together.
The
complex is set in attractive, 2.5 acre gardens, which feature
a large swimming pool, a tennis court and have direct access
to the River Esera. The decor includes tasteful furnishings
with traditional Pyrenian log burning stoves for winter breaks.
The area is well known for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife
and adventure sports such as paragliding, rafting and
alpine and cross-country skiing.
A
little off the beaten track, with gorgeous natural parks,
such as Ordesa, river valleys for rafting and canyoning, vine
yards, ski slopes and picturesque mountain villages, Aragon
has something for everyone.
Included in the rental price are electricity and bed linen,
however, we aim to make your stay is as perfect as it can

Pyrenees Stunning Scenery
In
Summer enjoy walking
through spectacular scenery of some of Spain's best mountain
peaks (Monte Perdido, Posets, Maladeta) or relax canoeing,
fishing or visiting the many sites. And there are also opportunities
to go white water rafting,
paragliding, canyoning
or rock climbing.
The area offers excellent climbing and walking
routes from simple strolls to strenous hikes.
In
Winter you can ski
(cross-country and alpine) in breath taking surroundings at
the nearby resort of Cerler. With a vertical drop of 1130
metres, Cerler is one of the most beautiful and natural ski
resorts in Spain. If you want to ski or snowboard on good
snow, great lifts with few queues and on and off-piste, Cerler
is a must.
Casa
Alfonso
is three hours by car from Barcelona airport (although if
you can find a flight to Zaragoza it's only 1.5 hours). Graus
is easily accessible with good roads right to the door. The
town, only 500m from the house, has plenty of shops, bars
and restaurants to keep you going. For the perfect spot to
spend you walking holiday in Spain, rafting,
